Marketing Advice
Develop organization skills:
Develop an interest in becoming an expert in organization. Do so through a professional, but unique way where it helps benefit work efficiency. Whether it is organizing paperwork, meetings or appointments, and events, make sure to stay organized. Doing so will help build a professionalism status in the long run. Also, this skill will help employees and customers feel comfortable working with the company. Other key advantages are:
-Time productivity
-Excellent work ethic
-Little to no mistakes
-Work productivity will increases
-Trust will be gained from customers and employees
Organization allows an individual to be efficient, limit errors and be professional. For example, categorize work to be more efficient and save time. As time passes, stay focused on organizing employees’ schedules, events, and inventory. These small strategies will help save companies time, which increase net profits.
Learn to adapt:
Adapt to different work environments. Every business experiences benefits and liabilities. If a business man fails to adapt he will not survive. Adapting will increase your opportunities as well as, broaden your perspective.
For example, picture your dream job. The pay is excellent, the company offers many benefits, and offers plenty vacation off-days. However, there is one problem with this job; your co-workers. They treat you like a rookie and portray you as the new guy who does not know anything. Invest time learning the job, the industry and the company. Spend time with the co-workers and get to know them. Foster the relationships.
Tips for Business Leaders
Be persistent:
Become persistent at work to avoid mistakes. Persistence leads to growth in profit and recognition. To develop persistence, avoid procrastination. Procrastination effects:
-Laziness
-Work overload
-Bad reputation
To avoid these circumstances, make a habit of answering e-mails daily, return calls within 24 hours and don’t touch any paper more than once. This will increase your reputation with colleagues, establish credibility with clients, and lead to long-term relationships.
Build communication and Social Skills:
Focus on enchaining communications and social skills. These skills will not only help an individual grow; it will help bring profit for the business. Think of the bigger picture. CEO’s aim at one goal; profit. In other words, become a profit center. Learn to communicate with people, as well as, meet new people who have the same passion. Use tools such as emails, texting, and calling to strengthen social skills. For example, Levine says “Participate in meetings, find a mentor, and ask for advice from people you can trust” this will teach marketing professionals to learn from mistakes. Avoid the following:
-Acting shy around people
-Not wanting to take advice
-Do not be hard-headed
Write grammatically well:
Learn to write grammatically well. It does not matter whether it’s a small report, resume, cover letter, or a thank-you letter. To become a better writer, learn punctuation, frontloading the information and identify with your audience. Approximately 80% of clients cannot write grammatically well in an e-mail. On the other hand, the clients write back correctly. These people have a higher chance at getting a response. For somebody to use the right punctuation has a higher chance of partnering with companies.
Practice makes perfect. Read books, re-read e-mails, resumes, letters, or any other work before submitting it. This will result in better networking, assessing situations easier, growing a net worth, higher grades and becoming a better writer.
Presidency Article
In the article The Wax Presidency Wanes as a Human Comes to the White House, the media portrays to destroy President Trump’s image. People dislike our President due to his exposure on live TV. Many view the President as a narcissist or a sociopath. Throughout the campaign media represented him as a racist, selfish, self-centered president.
In the article Startwell, Crispin speaks about how our new POTUS is no one that we ever experienced in the White House. Donald shows no fear what the consequences may be. Trump always had a strong belief to get our country back on its own feet. Due to his bold choices he portrays in front of the media when approaching his thoughts and beliefs, unfortunately, the people may forget that he is only human and should attempt to be more open to his beliefs for our country. Although he may come off uncertain with media, he is well aware of his actions. An example, Trump bans a few Islam countries from entering as a temporary hold for quite a few reasons. In fact, Obama had these countries listed before Trump even declared this action. However, the media decided to re-word and portray this as a racial, crucial, and a discourage move from our President.
“Words matter- sort of, sometimes-as these people keep insisting. But talk is cheap”. President hits on some important laws and regulations this country needs to follow up on. Unfortunately, our society believes anything they hear from our media which factors as to how people react to what our government organizes
Overall, President Trump will not follow the script that he is given and does not worry about what people have to say about him nor the media. We the people should understand Trump is only human which will encounter mistakes throughout his presidency years.
